Two Ways to Spend a Wednesday

Pick the right fit for your child

Both options run on the same early release schedule and cost the same — the difference is where the adventure takes you.

Field Trips
Out in the community with Westwood Enrichment Hub

In partnership with local businesses, grades 2–5 head out on a real field trip every early release Wednesday — exploring, staying active, and enjoying a change of scenery. Past destinations include Action Athletics, Hometown Arcade, ForeKicks and Monster Mini Golf.

A full afternoon at the Hub

For families who prefer to keep things close to home — or for younger kids not yet on the field trip program — the Hub runs a full early release afternoon with homework support, enrichment, and outdoor free play.

How a field trip Wednesday flows

Every early release Wednesday follows the same arrival and pickup schedule — field trippers and drop-in kids arrive together, then split off after lunch.
