We’re excited to share that the Westwood Enrichment Hub will be offering Field Trips for students in grades 2–5 on Early Release Wednesdays!

In partnership with Forekicks in Norfolk, children will enjoy an amazing indoor/outdoor facility with soccer, basketball, gaga ball, dodgeball and more! It’s a great way to stay active, try new sports and games, and enjoy a change of scenery on early release days.

Here’s what a typical early release Wednesday would look like:

• 12:00 PM – School dismissal; kids arrive at the Hub by bus (if registered for WPS bus) or parent drop off

• 12:00–2:00 PM – Lunch, Homework Club, and outdoor free play

• 2:00 PM – Depart by bus for Forekicks

• 2:30–4:00 PM – Structured sports and games at Forekicks

• 4:00 PM – Snack and return bus ride

• 4:30–5:00 PM – Return to the Hub for pickup

Here’s what you need to know:

• Start Date: Anticipated for September 17th (may shift to October 1st)

• Cost: $65 per Early Release Wednesday

• Who Can Join: Children in grades 2–5

• Activities: Field trips to Forekicks Norfolk designed to make Early Release days extra fun and engaging!
